Hi, Welcome back! Let's get right to it. See previous post here.
imPRESS press-on nails are available at stores like Walmart, Walgreen and CVS. They can also be purchased online and through my affiliate link here.
After your purchase, what's next? Well, each package comes with either 30 nails without accent nails, or 30 nails with 6 or 12 accents, depending on the design. That means you can get 3 full sets from one package. And if you wear them for not more than 7 days as suggested, you can get 3 weeks of wear from that one package. I know!😲 It's a pretty sweet deal 😊
The package comes with easy to understand and easy to follow instructions, so no worries there. It also comes with an enclosed prep pad that is helpful in the installation. Depending on your natural nail size and shape, choosing the correct size can be tricky. I have somewhat medium sized nails (I think), and I've been using these nails for a while and here is what I've learned so far.
The nails are numbered 0-11 and each number corresponds to a finger but not in the way you think. Here's how I have used them;
0, 1, 2- thumbs
3, 4, 5 - middle fingers
5, 6, 7, 8, 9 - index and/or ring fingers
9, 10 ,11- pinky
Accent nails typically fit the index, middle (maybe), and ring fingers.
I like to use the best fit for the first install right out of the package so for example, here are the numbers that would work for that; from thumb to pinky- 0,8,3,7,10, for each hand. The next install would be 1,9,4,6,11 for each hand. I typically don't get a third set because after 10 & 11, 9 doesn't fit my pinky right so I move on to the next package.
Lastly, the enclosed prep pad is good for one installation but not to worry, as long as you have rubbing alcohol in any form as shown, you are fine. Use it to prep your nails, then install. Piece of cake 😄
I hope this has been helpful for anyone looking to spruce up their nails on a budget. It's not a big deal but I enjoy it so I thought I'd share. 😊
As always, thank you for reading this far. Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think.
